The Broadway Channel adds The Mansfield Hotel, one of New York's historic landmark to its distribution

The Broadway Channel® welcomes the addition of one of New York’s historic landmarks, The Mansfield Hotel  to its hotel distribution

 

March 14, 2011, New York, NY - The Broadway Channel® today announced it provides daily programming to all guest rooms and suites at one of New York City’s finest historic landmarks, The Mansfield Hotel. The Broadway Channel transmits its digital television programming into all rooms as part of the hotels’ cable line up.

 

This quaint and renovated Midtown landmark (originally built in 1903) exudes an old New York feel with its dark woods, hopping bar and intimate Club Room. It’s nice appointed, contemporary rooms, features 21st century amenities such as flat-panel TVs, alarm clock radios for iPods, etc.

 

Broadway Previews, part of The Broadway Channel’s digital network provides daily programming on a dedicated channel into 73 hotels amounting to 36,519 Manhattan hotel rooms. The Broadway Channel digital network allows for “time of day” airing of theatrical programming, commercials, ticket billboards and star interviews.

The Broadway Channel is a full-service multimedia company that produces and distributes video and television programming for Broadway, Off-Broadway, Broadway on Tour, Las Vegas, Performing Art Centers and Regional Theatres.

The Broadway Channel provides programming as part of the Video on Demand broadband platform available on stand-alone TiVo DVR’s nationwide. The Broadway Channel is available to Sprint TV subscribers in the entertainment category. Programming includes a “What’s Hot on Broadway” segment from several of Broadway’s top shows; interviews with actors, directors and other theater insiders; special features such as Broadway touring shows; exclusive on-location segments from opening nights; star-studded red-carpet events and more.

The affiliation with The Mansfield Hotel is yet another example of The Broadway Channel’s unique reach and distribution into Manhattan’s finest hotels.
