SPRINT OFFERS BROADWAY’S BEST
MOBILE CONTENT TO SUBCRIBERS

Partnership with The Broadway Channel® will Provide Sprint TVSM Subscribers
Exclusive Mobile Access to the 2007 Tony Awards

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. ― June 6, 2007 ― For the second consecutive year, Sprint (NYSE: S) and The Broadway Channel® are partnering to provide Sprint TVSM users with exclusive mobile access to Broadway’s premier event, the 2007 Tony Awards.  Host Kate Shindle will patrol the red-carpet to conduct interviews with the theatre industry's hottest stars, nominees and celebrity presenters and the content will be available on The Broadway Channel located on Sprint TV. The Tony Awards will be broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall on CBS, Sunday, June 10th, 8:00 – 11:00 p.m. (ET/PT time delay).  The 2007 Tony Awards are presented by the League of American Theatres and Producers and the American Theatre Wing.

Sprint and The Broadway Channel announced this partnership at last year’s Tony Awards, and since then have been providing theater-lovers daily programming that includes a “clip of the week” from one of Broadway’s top shows; interviews with actors, directors and other theater insiders; special features from shows on tour; exclusive on-location segments from opening nights; star-studded red-carpet events and more.

Sprint Power View, the nation’s first and only made-for-mobile sports, music, and entertainment network, will also be on hand to provide Sprint TV users with a behind-the-scenes look at the Tony Awards, conducting interviews from the backstage Sprint VIP area.  Additional Broadway content that Sprint offers to its subscribers includes full-length song downloads from musicals found on the Sprint Music StoreSM, and ringers and call tones from the Sprint Digital Lounge (Standard Vision charges apply).

“Sprint is the industry leader in offering content-rich information and entertainment applications that change the way consumers use their phones,” said Alana Muller, director of product marketing for Sprint. “Providing unique content from The Broadway Channel to Sprint TV users demonstrates our commitment to bringing the best of entertainment to our customers.”

The partnership with The Broadway Channel is an extension of Sprint’s longstanding sponsorship of Live Broadway and The Tony Awards.  Under the Live Broadway banner, the League of American Theatres and Producers brings to Broadway fans events such as The Tony Awards (with the American Theatre Wing), Broadway on Broadway (with the Times Square Alliance), Broadway's Stars in the Alley, Broadway Under the Stars (with NYC & Company) and many touring shows that travel across the U.S. and Canada.
